Volunteer Opportunities

Gardens of the Park Club: Develop and maintain one of the theme gardens of perennial grasses, flowers, and flowering and fruit-bearing shrubs surrounding Detroit's most beautiful neighborhood park. We water the plants automatically every day.

Teen Venture Club Sponsor: Take on a role from mentoring to (CDL-licensed) driving with the club for Springwells Village teens that enables them to explore the educational, cultural, recreational and vocational opportunities of the region.

Board/Committee membership: Build our organization through leadership

• Finance

Reception/Clerical: Move the agency along with ½ day per week of office support.

Fix-it, Paint-it, Clean-it: If you ever owned a house, you know what it takes beyond the ordinary routines to keep a community center shining.
