Our mission is to support “successful families in healthy neighborhoods”
by
• developing healthy urban environments,
• nurturing safe, healthy and productive lifestyles in children
and adults, and
• connecting families and individuals with resources that address
their needs and aspirations.
Our strategy is to address one neighborhood at a time, working with collaborators to create a comprehensive plan of development so that, as people succeed in their own lives, their neighborhood will keep pace with their growing aspirations for a better life.
Our products:
• Skills for successful living
• Neighborhood facilities for learning and recreation
• Policies and projects that attract private and public
neighborhood investments
Accomplishments:
• Developed All Saints Neighborhood Center as a modern facility
in an historic building, fully programmed for human development
• Created All Saints Neighborhood Park as an urban oasis of respite
and recreation in place of vacant and blighted properties
• Brought into being two early childhood development centers
• Organized the Springwells Village Development Collaborative for
bringing out the full potential of five target neighborhoods … Springdale,
